Pretzels indeed are a crucial element and no Super Duper would be complete without them, but for me the secret ingredient was not any item that could be found in the pantry - it was actually the "secret" part! I remember the sundaes were created by Dad without us kids allowed to watch the process (and of course the sundaes would be different every time depending on the available ingredients) so we were genuinely surprised every time by what came out of the kitchen. Fond memories! Just wanted to share! This is a genius post for post-Halloween!
